Can a hockey hunk teach a yoga instructor to be more flexible? “Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips

Harrison Wynn
Even though I’m the oldest player on the farm team, I’m playing my heart out this year to prove that I have what it takes to play in the NHL.
Everyone expects me to live up to my dying hockey hero dad’s legacy, but my chances are receding every season.
What I need is to focus, but the team’s new yoga instructor is a major distraction; I’ve had my eye on her from the first time we met.
Except she’s not interested—okay, maybe actively disinterested—since I accidentally dumped her into the ocean during our paddleboard yoga class.
How can I prove to her—and to the NHL—that I’m worth taking a chance on?

Arya Ross
Men are the last thing I need in my life.
Yoga is my priority; it helps me center myself and heal my soul.
But I can’t turn down the once-in-a-lifetime offer to be the personal yoga instructor for the local hockey team.
Sure, there are some cute players—including Harrison Wynn, who seemingly won’t take no for an answer, and whose boyish smile and sexy charm are hard to resist.
He seems genuine, and I wonder . . .
Can I put my past behind me to start a future with him?

For the Win was the fourth book in the Wynn Hockey series by Kelly Jamieson. The series built off each other so it was best read in order.

Arya Ross was a yoga instructor that we met in previous books (remember paddle board yoga!). She had crazy funny chemistry with Harrison but kept blowing him off. She seemed feisty, independent and totally at peace.

Harrison was a Wynn. Big hockey legend family where all offspring did something hockey related. Harrison bounced back and forth between the AFL and NHL CA Condor teams - never quite making the permanent move to the NHL. With season ending injuries, he was called up to the NHL again. And just his luck, the organization hired a yoga instructor as they headed into the playoffs. Not just any instructor, but the one he couldn’t get out of his mind.

Jamieson picked up where the last book left off. She then took us through Harrison’s pursuit of Anya. It was obvious the attraction was there, but something kept holding her back. Jamieson slowly unraveled the layers while simultaneously tackling some tough topics. Although there were some humorous light hearted moments, For the Win was primarily deep and emotional. No spoilers, so no elaboration.

I enjoyed both the storyline and the characters. And actually, I loved Harrison. He was funny and intense at the same time. I didn’t mind the drama, but being a major hockey fan, I didn’t particularly care for it centered around the playoffs. And speaking of hockey, Jamieson obviously knows her hockey and it showed. Tons of accurate details, adding to the depth and dimension of the storyline.

Overall, it was well written, well developed and entertaining. True to the series, the Wynn family was front and center and I loved them all. I’m so ready for Ash’s story, but first the mysterious Jackson in Game Changer.

Release day! Woohoo! I'm excited! I loved writing this story about hockey players doing yoga! Harrison's a bit of a nut, but he's a good guy, he just needs to learn more about himself (don't we all!). And Arya is healing and growing too and I love how they came together! I hope you enjoy!

Okay y'all, there is a mistake in FOR THE WIN. A hockey mistake. I made it. I prefer to think of it as a typo LOL. When an ARC reader let me know about it, I was MORTIFIED. OMG I can't believe I wrote that.

Now, I'm laughing about it. It probably can't be fixed before release day so it's going out to the world like that. If you notice it, please just laugh. I know it's there, I own it, and I'm laughing too. 😀

Less than a week to release day! I can't wait for you all to read FOR THE WIN, Harrison and Arya's story, and I'm thrilled about all the fabulous early reviews!

"For the Win is another exceptional(ly swoony) installment in the Wynn Hockey series" -- yay!

I have been waiting for Harrison and Arya to get together for a couple of books now, and I am thrilled that we finally have their story.
Arya is a much more complex character than I had initially thought she was going to be, but we all have a past and it is what makes us the person we are right now so I wasn't surprised to learn about certain aspects of her background. I will say though she is one heck of a strong person and I don't mean that just because she can do all of those crazy yoga poses on a paddle-board.

Harrison Wynn is fun loving and carefree, well for the most part anyway. I love his good nature and pure heart. He and Arya are like Yin and Yang, they fit together perfectly and balance one another.

I have been enjoying this series and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys the Sports Romance trope. I would suggest you read the books in the order they have been released because there is family drama that plays out throughout each of the books and it's best followed in order rather than in bits and pieces.

Happy Reading!!!

**Possible Trigger warnings: This book discusses a stalking/physical assault of a character and the patriarch of the Wynn family is formally diagnosed and is rapidly declining from Alzheimer’s disease.

** Reviewer’s note: I’ve enjoyed Kelly Jamieson’s Wynn Hockey series from the start and while I did enjoy this book, I had a hard time reading parts of it. I lost my dad to Alzheimer’s mentally 6 years ago and physically 2 ½ years ago so watching a character slip into the decline of this disease is hard for me. Let me state that Ms. Jamieson does a great job of describing the incidents that can and do occur with Alzheimer’s patients as well as the reactions of how loved ones feel and deal with the effects of this horrible disease. I know there will be people who argue that things like this don’t belong in romance books, but I disagree even when it is hard for me to read it at times. If we want romance books to be realistic, then we have to be willing to accept that things like a parent having Alzheimer’s or cancer is a fact of life, it happens and when a parent is diagnosed it changes their children’s world no matter how old they are. I also want to state that this part of the book had no bearing on my star rating of this book, because Ms. Jamison handled it with respect and courtesy for those of us who have lived through it.

For The Win by Kelly Jamieson is an emotional journey on so many levels. As always this author brings hockey alive in the pages of this book as both Wynn family owned teams approach playoff season, but on top of that she expertly brings the zen feeling of practicing yoga to life as well.

Harrison has never quite found his place in his hockey career, bouncing between the AHL and NHL he’s been a stable player, good in his own right, but not spectacular. Harrison seems like a goofball, always joking around and never taking life seriously, but it becomes clear in this book that his outward appearance is covering up his inferiority complex. Harrison has always looked up to his father and wanted nothing more that to live up to his father’s legacy as a hockey legend. With his father dying, Harrison feels even more pressure to make his dad proud and the stress is getting to him. After a couple of disastrous sessions of standup paddleboard yoga where he makes an a$$ of himself in front of Arya, the instructor he is drawn to, he decides to go to the studio where she teaches because he knows he wants her in his life despite everything else going on in it.

Following a relationship gone bad, Arya moved from North Dakota to California to get away and restart her life. He college friend and now roommate Taj has been there for her and has helped her get her growing yoga business off the ground. She couldn’t help but notice the big guy who has come to two of her SUP yoga classes with one of her regular students and despite the fact he’s a bit disruptive he makes her smile and feel a bit lighter, but she also doesn’t trust her judgment. When he shows up at the studio where she teaches classes, her anxiety kicks in but when he confesses that the yoga is helping him through some stress, she gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Harrison and Arya complimented each other very well; he helped her take steps outside her comfort zone by showing over and over he was an easy going guy and while at times he pushed a little, he also seemed to realize when he needed to back off; she centered him, her calm demeanor and reserved nature seemed to help him see beyond his own problems and made him want to be a better man (although to be honest he was a good man anyway he just needed a bit of polish). I loved how open and honest Harrison was with Arya so I was a bit disappointed when she held something really important back from him, something she saw fit to share with pretty much virtual strangers but not with the man she’d become intimate with.

At times there was a very heavy feel to this story, a lot going on outside of the romance/relationship aspect of this book and I felt it took a bit of focus away from Harrison and Arya, however I still enjoyed this story immensely.

Packed with emotion and two people who grew and changed throughout, For The Win was an outstanding addition to the Wynn Hockey series.

Though I accidentally skipped 'In It to Win It', whoopsie! This was a far better improvement then that mess of a sequel I read ages ago. Arya (unusual but cute name) and Harrison were such a cute couple even though I didn't really see much chemistry between then, the sexual tension was through the roof so to some extent it made up for it.

This release had all the elements that typically wins me over: romance, sports, wild family antics, sad backstory and sexy times. Now why the three stars? Storyline was generic and bland, and there wasn't anything that glued me to the pages but nevertheless an overall enjoyable read.

For the Win is the fourth book in the Wynn Hockey series by Kelly Jamieson. Each book is stand-alone and there is even a short character introduction sheet at the beginning of the book, so readers who are new to the series won't have a problem understanding the role of each character.

Even though I have read all four books, I still cannot remember how is everyone related to each other and I am really considering doing a big family tree for the Wynn's in order to be prepared for book 5. Also, there is some family drama that's been going on for a while, but it's not a big part of the story, which is why, in my opinion, you can read this book and if you like it, you can go back and read the rest of the series too, without a problem. A fun surprise was remembering that Arya appeared in the third book of the series for the first time when Everly took her man and Harrison to one of Arya's yoga classes. I would have liked to see Taj, Arya's friend, more because it seemed like Arya blended with Harrison's world, but he didn't blend with hers. She mentions other friends too, but Taj is the most important.

The Wynn's are very close as a family and you will see plenty of them and their significant others in this book. I love revisiting characters from the previous books and I loved how Everly and Arya formed a close relationship even before Arya and Harrison got together.

I really enjoyed reading For the Win and it's one of the best I read in February (the joy of being an ARC reader). There were some parts that I didn't like as much, but my overall impression of the book as a very positive one. I wanted Arya to open up to Harrison about her past much sooner than she did, which resulted in me getting a little frustrated, but as the book went on, I found myself having a lot of things in common with her and I ended up liking her a lot.

Harrison might be a little pushy, but his heart is in the right place and honestly, I found it to be a nice parallel to another plotline that's included in the book. He and Arya make a great couple!

Despite all the Hockey romance books I have read, I still don't know many things about it, so I missed an error in the book. I wouldn't have realized it if it wasn't for the author's GR review. If that bothers you, then skip the book.

Overall, the book was very good and I would recommend it!

Family, Hockey and romance = the Wynns….

If you have been following the Wynns, and really you want to, you will feel how I do when a new read is here! This is a complicated, sprawling family but when the love bug hits, you know the wagons will circle even as the drama heated up…

Harrison found himself a bit adrift in his over-achieving family with his foot in and out of the NHL. Struggling to find his place, Arya entered his life, bringing yoga, focus and love… Arya was rebuilding in a new place, also struggling to find her way in her new life. What was certain and entertaining was the sparks flying...

Arya and Harrison’s courtship was plagued by uncertainty but held together through the warmth growing between them and the humour that surrounded them. There was a lot of push and pull, with Harrison's dedication to his goal, fierce and all in. If Arya was reluctant it was understandable even as I wanted her to see his feelings, his sincerity a lot sooner.

Family, as usual, played a huge factor as the over-arching series drama continued to grow. I smiled a lot but it was bittersweet too, as life handed the good with the bad.Hockey was the focus but love made it all worthwhile…

Harrison's never met someone so disinterested in him before, and it's sorta bugging him. He's got it bad for his gorgeous yoga instructor, but she isn't interested. Or is she?

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting Arya's back story. It's heartbreaking, and Harrison's reaction was disappointing. Still, he's really a sweet guy at heart and I was glad because she deserved someone as great as she.

Kelly Jamieson's hockey romances are some of my favorites, and with this installment, she's just cemented herself even more as one of the queens of sexy, emotional hockey love!

4 Star Review of For The Win (Wynn Hockey #4) by Kelly Jamieson

I enjoy Kelly Jamieson’s style of writing, her characters are strong and yet she shows that they can be human and not the “perfect” hero or heroine and this makes for a realistic and enjoyable read.

For The Win is the fourth in the latest series, Wynn Hockey and is Harrison Wynn and Arya Ross’s story, who we first met in Win Big and I really enjoyed it.

Harrison is desperate to prove he has what it takes to make it in the NHL. He lives to play hockey although he needs to be more focused and that’s where Arya comes in.

However Arya has been burnt in the past and she doesn’t want to open herself up to heartache. The family dynamics of the Wynn family is convoluted and my head spinning at times. However you know that they love one another and will protect and have one another’s back at all times.

The chemistry between Harrison and Arya sizzles and as the intensity grows you could feel the heat. I loved Harrison, he is totally swoon worthy, he made me laugh and smile.

A well written romance which gave me chills (in a good way).

This book killed me just a little. It dealt with some tough issues but Kelly did a great job covering them. I lost my uncle to Alzheimer's so I was definitely feeling it We have Harrison who has always admired his dad and wants to live up to his name as a hockey legend, now that his father is dying he feels more and more pressure and stress, he seems like a clown but that is him hiding how he really feels. He starts yoga and embarasses himself in from of Arya the yoga instructor, and my friend the fun begins.. Enjoy!

Another Wynn bites the dust! No, its not foreshadowing. Harrison, himself, says he's going to marry her. Now he just needs to prove it.

The Wynns are a big complicated hockey family. With a family dynamic that leads to overly dramatic and probably avoidable problems, they aren't devoid of entertainment. You just need to learn to pick and chose your battles in the Wynn household. Perhaps, some people need to grow up too...

Harrison will learn. Arya won't let him get her down. This sexy, sweet story has Wynn lovers ready for Jackson's appearance. Just don't wait too long...

The Wynns are still #winning !! *happy sigh*

Note: Even tho technically, this book can be a standalone, you’re missing out on the family ARC if you don’t start at the beginning. Your choice…..

Harrison and Arya managed to not only entertain me, but tug at my heart at every single turn! I didn’t really think that Harrison would pull a 5 Star from me, but he did! GAH, this family is everything!!

This series just gets better with each book! I love all the nuances of the extended family. I will say, you will enjoy this more if you have read the previous books. There are ongoing story lines that go through all the books.

Harrison and Arya are destined to be together. Arya just doesn't buy into that yet. Loved Harrison and his determination. Cupid struck and he does everything in his power to get Arya on his team.

Fair bit of Hockey in this one.l Of course, the whole family lives and breaths it but Harrison has something to prove here. Loved catching up with the rest of the bunch. Wow! What a cliff hanger that epilogue was! can't wait for the next book!

Full steam ahead takes on a whole new meaning when describing a Kelly Jamieson novel. Harrison and Arya are hot enough to set the heart racing, the hormones raging and tempers flaring. Prepare for an uphill battle that will turn up the heat with a bit of hard to resist charm.

3.75 stars--FOR THE WIN is the fourth instalment in Kelly Jamieson’s contemporary, adult WYNN HOCKEY erotic, romance series focusing on the Wynn family. This is twenty-six year olds, NHL hockey player Harrison Wynn, and yoga instructor Arya Ross’ story line. FOR THE WIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and history.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Harrison and Arya) FOR THE WIN follows two paths including the building romance and relationship between NHL hockey player Harrison Wynn, and yoga instructor Arya Ross, and the illness that is slowly robbing the family patriarch of his mind. Arya Ross moved to California to get away from her past. As a yoga instructor Arya is able to relax and start a new life but meeting hockey player Harrison Wynn forces Arya to look beyond the past, and into a possible future but Harrison is completely unaware of the ghosts that haunt our story line heroine, ghosts about which Arya refuses to talk. As their relationship begins to bloom, Harrison finds himself making one mistake after another, mistakes about which he, once again, is completely unaware. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Arya and Harrison, and the fall out as Arya pushes Harrison out of her life.

Meanwhile, former star hockey player, and team owner Bob Wynn is battling a daily struggle with a debilitating disease. Although his wife Chelsea has kept secret many of the smaller issues, questionable financial transactions and missing money are tearing the family apart. With the truth come questions, questions that no one is able to answer.

The relationship between Arya and Harrison is one of immediate attraction but Harrison and his friends push Arya out of her comfort zone. Arya is hired as the new yoga instructor for the NHL’s California Condors, a position that places Arya in the direct line of fire for Harrison’s advances and growing love but Arya continues to struggle with demons from the past, and in this, their lack of communication set the couple up to fail. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including the large extended and slightly dysfunctional Wynn family: patriarch Bob Wynn and his wife Chelsea; GM of the Condors Theo Wynn; Theo’s brother and hockey player for the Long Beach Golden Eagles JP Wynn, as well as numerous brothers and nephews including Matthew and Mark Wynn from Bob’s first marriage: Mark’s son Jackson; Harrison’s twin brother Asher, Noah and their sister Everly. We are introduced to Arya’s roommate Taj, and his boyfriend Ziggy, as well as the introduction of several members of the California Condors.

FOR THE WIN is a story of family, friendships, secrets and struggle; of one woman’s battle with the demons from her past, and the lack of communication that threatens the growing love between our leading couple, and in this I struggled with Harrison’s acceptance of blame when, in fact, he had no idea of what happened or why, or how the simplest gestures set off our story line heroine. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance struggles in the face of secrets and Arya’s inability to reveal the truth,

Jamieson has married two things I love in this series. I am all about the hockey romance, and love a good family focus. The Wynn Hockey series gives me lots of both.

Who?

• Harrison - A veteran on the Condors farm team, he hoped to get called up and stay in the NHL this time, but his constant battle with his family legacy and self doubt keeps getting in the way.

• Arya - A yoga instructor, who has sworn off men, and for good reason. She was working to move on from her past, but was struggling with trusting men and her judgement of them.

What?

Harrison had been attracted to Arya since the first time he saw her, but she didn't seem interested. When Arya was hired as the Condors' yoga instructor, Harrison thought this would be his opportunity to pursue Arya, but could this relationship work? And if it did, would it derail Harrison's shot at the NHL?

Why?

I was a fan of Harrison's from previous books, and I was happy to get to know him better. He seemed so happy go lucky, but in reality, he felt like the inadequate Wynn. Being a team veteran was not the worst thing, but at his age, his days were numbered. It was time for him to make that push to become a permanent member of the NHL team, however, he first had to deal with the pressure he put on himself to live up to the family name and restore his self-confidence. I really felt for Harrison. I loved him, and wanted him to make the team and get the girl. He grew a LOT, and watching him evolve and open up was icing on the cake for me.

Then, there was Arya. At first, I didn't get why she was the way she was. Here was this attractive guy with a great personality, who was obviously into her, and she was putting him off. But, when I learned about what prompted her move to L.A., I totally understood her reticence to trust another man. Her past was rough, and she had physical scars to show for it. She had to learn to trust her instincts and Harrison, but it was a journey for her, which was riddled with many bumps.

Though Arya's storyline was of a serious nature, there were lots of fun and warm moments throughout this book. I especially loved the meet-the-family scene, because I am a fan of the big and crazy Wynn family. There were also some really touching heart-to-hearts between Harrison and his family, as the clan dealt with their Patriarch's health issues. I was glad to see more progress made towards a family reconciliation, because it's easy to see, that they will need to pull together as a family unit sooner than later.

Overall: Another solid book in the Wynn Hockey series. Both Harrison and Arya are characters you will want to root for, and it was wonderful seeing these two tackle some serious obstacles and get their HEA.

Book 4 in the Wynn Hockey series For the Win brings to the spotlight Harrison Wynn. Likeable and fun with a touch of vulnerable this was an endearing hero. How he handled his struggle with trying to live up to his potential with the looming successes of his family gave him a lot of depth and took him from coming off as immature to being a man worth getting to know. Arya took a bit e to warm up to but in the end this author was able to show why Harrison was persistent in his wooing of her and show readers what he saw in her. This was an almost instant connection with lots of hurdles to overcome, going from a passing infatuation to a serious commitment. There were some great moments with this couple ranging from silly to poignant.

There is little doubt why Kelly Jamieson is one of the Hockey romance genre's premier authors. Her players and their heroines are engaging and she generally zeroes in on what makes her couples tick. This work grappled some with finding a balance between the personals stories of her leads and over loading with technical information especially on the part of Arya and Yoga descriptions. The interaction between the entire cast of characters in this work was well done and made up for any areas in the story that lagged. This author handled the effects of some serious subject matter involving both Harrison and Arya with sensitivity and believably. As a whole Kelly Jamieson's love of her characters and appealing writing style made For the Win worth reading.

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone. Reading the prior books in this series is recommended to enhance the overall reading experience.*

There was something about this book that made it feel like it had a quiet tone to it. Might be due to the yoga aspect, might be because Harrison was struggling with things, might be because the whole Wynn family is facing a horrible thing that could/would change their whole dynamic, then you throw in Arya's past, just a lot of things going on.

I liked that Harrison was smitten with Arya from the start, that he persued her and went at her pace. Were there some bumps, yes, but those were overcome through talking. When Arya explained things to Harrison it changed things between them for the better. I liked that as these two were exploring their relationship Arya was there for Harrison as his personal life sort of imploded and that she was there as he worked through what was going on in his professional life.

By the end of the book things were much better for everyone, all the secrets out, everyone knew what was important and they could get on living their lives.

I will literally read any Kelly Jamieson book at this point, but I do love her hockey romance books. For The Win was another great addition to this series. I don't think you have to read these in order, but because of the health stuff that goes on with one of the family members, I do think it makes sense to do so.

I feel like Kelly has been planting the seeds for this story for a while now, so it was fun to finally read about Harrison! And the yoga teacher, Arya. She has an interesting story, and I totally got why she was so very cautious. I also loved that she was very smart about being safe, which was understandable given her past. Harrison makes mistakes in this one because of it, but I was really glad these two were able to figure it out.

I kind of forgot that Ash and Harrison were twins until a certain plot point in this book. LOL! Oops!

I love reading about this crazy hockey family and seeing where everything is going. I really want to read Ash's story next, but I think the next one is going to be about Jackson, who plays for Chicago. I'm still excited about that one too!

If you love hockey romances, I highly recommend this book and this series!

Harrison is one of the veterans on the farm team and he knows that if he doesn’t crack the NHL lineup soon then it won’t happen. He is determined to make the most of what could be his last opportunity but between family pressures and the woman he can’t seem to forget that is easier said than done.

Ayra is a yoga instructor who isn’t interested in a relationship and doesn’t trust her judgment when it comes to men. When Harrison attends her class he always manages to add some fun and although she originally resists she is drawn to him in a way that she can’t deny.

Both Harrison and Ayra are affected by their pasts in different ways as Harrison is afraid he doesn’t measure up so he doesn’t always try while Ayra’s past has made her cautious and the only way they can have a future together is if they are willing to open up their hearts and lives to each other.

I was looking forward to Harrison and Arya’s story since they were first introduced, and it didn’t disappoint. Harrison has a nice blend of humor and seriousness, and he brings out Arya’s fun side. They really balance each other out as a couple.

Readers familiar with the series will finally find out what happened years ago to divide the Wynn family. It was nice to see hints that everyone is finally willing to come together to start healing the family, especially since the elder Wynn is officially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

This is the fourth book in the series, and I recommend reading them in order. Harrison and Arya are introduced in a previous book, and the family feud is an on-going storyline from the first book in the series. Readers might find it helpful to have the family backstory.

I loved the interactions between Harry and Arya in Win Big and couldn't wait to read how the chemistry played out. It's amazing that you don't easily see past the exterior of what a person presents and how much that often hides. Both MCs are having internal struggles and each have their own set of hurdles and setbacks within For The Win. Who hasn't wanted to make their parents proud, but constantly felt like they'd failed? Who hasn't been scared, but know that they can be brave? The growth, awareness and self discovery they each make throughout has the capability to instill so much hope for the readers that can easily put themselves in either pair of shoes.

What I enjoyed most about this story was the lack of other women. Harrison, the hockey player, didn't have the inevitable "puck bunny" crowd, the adoring female fan club, and not every woman he encountered was trying to catch his eye. This was just a story about his relationship with his family, his sport and the one girl he wanted. Thank you KJ for that lack of side drama that I don't ever need or want.

Glad to see the Wynn family saga will continue with Jackson's book. Also appreciate the family list at the beginning of each book. There are so many Winn family members I have to flip back and forth to recall who's married to who or which family they belong too. Thankfully there are enough siblings left to keep the series going for awhile.

I liked Aria and absolutely adored Harrison in Jamieson’s latest hockey love story with the Wynn family.

Harrison’s love at first sight experience, and his bold statement to his hockey team that Aria was going to be his wife before she even agreed to go on a date with him melted my heart.

This was a sexy couple with a wonderful family situation that gave extra heart to the story.

Alexander Cendese and Kasha Kensington were awesome once again, narrating this great audiobook.

Note: I received a review copy of this title courtesy of the audiobook publisher, Tantor.

I did not expect to fall in love with Harrison Wynn - but I did. I loved this story and it is by far my favorite of this series by far. The Wynn family is...complicated. Really, really complicated - but what shines through beyond anything else is the love they have for each other. At the end of the day, they are a family and they put aside their differences to come together and just love each other.

In the Wynn family Harrison is practically an under-achiever. There is a ton of pressure on him to succeed and he definitely has a lot of talent. But throughout his life something has been holding him back. In this book he is having a chance to really go for it and maybe move permanently into the NHL. At around the same time - he meets Arya. He is immediately drawn to Arya and proceeds to pursue her pretty fiercely.

For anyone else it might be cute or very romantic, but for Arya it is pretty terrifying. Arya was the victim of a horrifying instance of stalking. She definitely suffers from PTSD and has some pretty significant trust issues (including trusting her own judgment).

Both she and Harrison make a lot of mistake along the way in their relationship. They both spend a good amount of time doing some serious soul searching and drawing on inner courage to allow things to move forward. They are a sweet wonderful couple - and you can see that their relationship is meant to go all the way.

Both of them take ownership and responsibility for their actions and talk things out instead of pushing things to the side and not dealing with them.

This book also delves much more deeply into what is going on with patriarch Bob Wynn. It is a true window into dealing with long term illness and the devastating effects of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.

Overall - Kelly Jamieson's writing is on fire for this book. I really really enjoyed it! I can't wait to see what comes next for this series.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own!

ARC from NetGalley.

Wow, Kelly, it's another great hockey romance for the Wynn family!!!

Sometimes the amount and configuration of Wynn family members gets overwhelming.
This time the twins get the new girl confused even.

Arya (not sure how to pronounce) and Harrison are delightful. Arya had been attacked back in Fargo, ND where after a few quick dates the guy couldn't stop stalking her until his frustration had him attacking her with a knife.

She survived and moves to LA and starts her life there. She's a wonderful Yoga teacher.
She meets Harrison Wynn when he joins her paddle board yoga class and some how manages to dunk the teacher in the ocean.
Smooth Harrison.

Some lessons I get out of this story.
1. Date before becoming intimate. Thank goodness she hadn't gotten that involved with Lucas. And then she learned how Harrison was a good guy by dating him.

2. Harrison's dad's illness brings the family together. After reading the prior books I felt sad for this diagnosis but glad the family could rally

3. Harrison listens to criticism because it was meant to make him better....first, the coach, Arya's bravery, his mom, dad, and even Ash.

I may of spoiled some of the book but there is plenty of hockey playoffs, yoga, Venice, Santa Monica, and Wynn family to read!!

I loved this book. Thanks.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, laughs, naughty fun, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Play to Win (Wynn Hockey #1)
In It to Win It (Wynn Hockey #2)
Win Big (Wynn Hockey #3)

This is Arya and Harrison’s story. Harrison is out to prove that he has what it takes. But he needs help. Yoga is Arya life. She needs it to overcome her past and heal her soul. But with all the chemistry Harrison brings to her life will it be enough for her to give him a chance? Or will hurts of the past keep her from moving forward with him? Can she help him with his dream and also heal herself in the end?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.
