2021 - Medrano appeared in 30 games getting the starting nod in three as a right fielder ... Finished the season with three hits and RBis, five runs scored, and went 4-4 stealing bases ... In the Lions 3-2 win over Missouri Western (May 7th) had a pitch hit RBI that started the comeback win ... Part of the Lions team that was in Division II, second in triples (24), ninth in triples per game (0.52), 14^th in double plays turned (17), hit-by-pitches (42) and stolen bases (99). Finished 23^rd in stolen bases per game (2.15), 29^th in sacrifice bunts (32), 41^st in double plays turned per game (0.37) and 49^th in win-loss percentage (0.663). In the MIAA the Lions ranked first in double plays turned, stolen bases per game, stolen bases, triples and triples per game, second in double plays turned per game, hit-by-pitches and sacrifice bunts. Ranked third in on-base percentage (0.366) and scoring average (4.91), fourth in runs scored (226) and win-loss percentage, sixth in ERA (3.27), hits (345) and WHIP (1.46).

2020 - Played 12 games while starting three during the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season... Posted a .077 batting average with one hit... she scored two runs with an RBI.

Prior to Southern - Medrano was a three-year letter winner for the Broncos of Lee's Summit North high school under head coach John Gage … the Lee's summit, Missouri native wrapped up her scholastic career finishing fifth in stolen bases and runs scored among the school record books as well as  a second-team All-District performer as a junior and honorable mention recipient as a senior while becoming a a three-time All-League honorable mention selection in all seasons played (sophomore-senior). 

Personal - daughter of Michelle and Steve and plans on majoring in pediatrics once on campus.
