2022 - Duensing appeared in a record setting 31 games for the Lions out of the pen ... Finished the season with 29.2 innings of work with 33 strikeouts and only 10 walks issued while helping the Lions to four shutouts.

2021 - Duensing appeared in a team-high 23 games for the Lions as a relief pitcher ... Finished the season with a 3-3 record after 31.2 innings of work with 30 strikeouts and only six walks and limited opposing batters to a .298 batting average and picked up a save.

2020 - Duensing appeared in three games for the Lions as a relief pitcher... Pitched 1.2 innings striking out two... One of 17 Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Southern - Duensing comes to Southern from Blue Valley Northwest where he was a two-year letter winner for coach Corby Lange and the Huskies ... Duensing was a first-team All-State selection as a senior and an honorable-mention All-State pick as a junior, helping the Huskies make it to the State Tournament two years in a row, placing third once and finishing up as the runner-up another time. 

Personal - Scott is the son of Emily and Dan Duensing and plans to major in pre-vet biology at Southern.
