A key role of the TU Dublin Enterprise Academy is to facilitate and encourage engagement between enterprise, students and the University. The Enterprise Challenge is a 5 ECTS elective module that offers multi-disciplinary student teams a hands-on learning experience that bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills. The module fosters essential transversal skills highly sought after by employers, such as analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, teamwork, communication and adaptability. 

 

 

 

Aligned to the TU Dublin Partnership pillar, the Enterprise Challenge is a 5 ECTS UEM-aligned elective module that: 

  • Offers student teams a hands-on learning experience. 
  • Bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills. 
  • Fosters essential transversal skills highly sought after by employers, such as analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, teamwork, communication and adaptability. 

 

ENTERPRISE ACADEMY SUPPORT:  

The Enterprise Academy can work with schools and disciplines to support: 

  • A shared teaching & learning toolkit to help academics get up and running with module delivery. 
  • Practical support in the co-development of additional learning assets and resources. 
  • Provision of live challenge sponsors and mentorship from Enterprise Academy partners. 
  • A UEM-aligned validated 5 ECTS module available for:
    • Adoption by programme board teams within a programme, discipline or school.
    • UEM elective option for postgraduate, undergraduate and Erasmus students across the university.  
    • Level 8 and Level 9 options available.
