Graham Outdoor Buys Divine Outdoor

Shannon Graham, President, Graham Outdoor

Graham Outdoor has purchased the assets of Divine Outdoor in Florida.  Insider interviewed Graham Outdoor President Shannon Graham.

Shannon, how did you get involved in out of home.

I got involved in ooh by purchasing some hunting property in Ga back 16 years ago along I-16. My wife and mother in law had the idea to utilize it by putting a billboard up. Started with one and now have 20 in Ga., several which I own the property as well.

Tell us about the transaction

“I am pleased to announce that Graham Outdoor Advertising LLC has acquired the assets of the Clermont Florida based company Divine Outdoor Advertising. Divine Outdoor has been in operation since 2001. Mr Divine and I have been working on this deal for about 3 months now and I am very excited to take over a very well ran operation and some very unique locations. The locations we have acquired are about 6 miles from the Disney Theme parks in a very rapidly fast growing Clermont Florida location.

What was appealing about the divine outdoor plant

What I like about the Divine plant is the location, the fact he was another independent like myself and it came with the property. Divine mentioned in a Billboard Insider story about retirement and letting the next operator go digital. I decided to reach out to him and see if he was interested in selling . Lucky for me he was.

I hear you’re installing some digital billboards.

This location will be the first of 3 LEDs we will be installing in Clermont. The board is scheduled to be installed the week of October 22. Traffic count for this location is app 66k daily with a slow moving 15-30 mph traffic passing through the interchange.

We will be installing a Watchfire LED.  I took a plant tour and the 14×48 board outside their plant has been there for 11 years, and that really stood out to me . The quality after 11 years made my decision easier

  1. I am pleased Shannon was impressed with the quality of the 14′ x 48′ sign at Watchfire.
PROFAB built that sign for Watchfire 11 years ago, when they first started building for the Outdoor industry. They certainly have become a success serving the Outdoor industry.
