Welcome

Let's praise together using the Hymn Restore O Lord.

God of all grace, you have given us a saviour, produce in us a faith to live by Him, and to make Him all our desire, all our hope, and all our glory.   Amen.

Let’s come to a time of prayer and worship before we celebrate the Lord’s supper together. Let’s pray.

The LORD reigns, He is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. Ps 93 v 1-2.

Lord we thank you today that you have indeed established your throne above the chaos of this world. That unlike all earthly Kings, your throne was established long ago, from all eternity. Lord; we come before your throne of grace today, knowing that before you our lives aren’t always as clean as they should be. Thank you today Jesus for the cross. Thank you that you were willing to suffer and die that we might know forgiveness from sin, and peace with the Father. Amen.

Lord, as we continue to give thanks today, we thank you for the presence of your Spirit within the hearts and lives of all your people. Lord, please help us to live Spirit filled lives. Lives that reflect your love into this world, bringing hope to the hopeless through our proclamation of the gospel. May our lives be a living testimony of your love for us heavenly Father, that we might, through our deeds draw people around us to you. Amen.

We pray this morning for all who are living on their own, and especially for all who are dependent on others at this time. Be their companion through these challenging times Lord, and may they be drawn even closer to you, closer than a brother. Lord, please wrap your loving arms around all who are anxious today. Worried about the future, concerned about contracting the virus, or concerned, having been furloughed at losing their jobs, their homes, their security. Amen.

Lord we pray for all who have been accessing services on line, those who have probably never thought of entering a church building, but who from their own homes are hearing the gospel being proclaimed. Lord; touch their hearts we pray, and convict them of their need for your forgiveness, and bring them to that place of surrender before you, that they may receive salvation for their souls, and the promised indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord please watch over all our brothers and sisters today. Give us wisdom Lord to know when it will be the right time for us all to return to the church safely.

Before we share in the bread and wine, we’re going to sing again, marveling together at just How Deep the Fathers love is for each one of us, and how Jesus' body was Broken for us.

How deep the Fathers love for us.

Broken for me, Broken for You

We have a gospel to proclaim

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for being with us today by your Spirit. Thank you for feeding us through your word, and through the Body and blood of your dear Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

So now may the peace of God that passes all understanding be with us today, and for evermore. Amen.
