Blood Fury MC #2

Blood & Bones: Sig

Rate this book
Revenge isn’t always sweet, but it sure can be satisfying...

Sig never wanted to return to Manning Grove since it didn’t hold any good memories. Growing up a part of the Blood Fury MC ended up being a disaster and screwed up his life, which led to him spending most of it in and out of jail. But now he’s not only back, he’s sitting at the table as VP next to Trip, his half-brother who has resurrected the MC from the ashes.

Still bitter about what went down twenty years ago, he’s now trying to move past it and stay out of jail for good. Until he finds a beaten and abused woman running through the woods, trying to escape her captors. Now all he can think about is revenge on the Shirley Clan, a group of sovereign citizens who follow no laws but their own. And if he isn’t careful, he might end up right back where he vowed to never go again. Behind bars.

Note: Blood & Bones: Sig is the second book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger and has an HEA. It’s recommended to read this series in order.

"Blood and Bones: Sig" is the story of Autumn and Sig.

Hmm.

OK, so I do not have problem with MC/ Biker romances anymore, and have come to enjoy them. Furthermore, I am in a current dark romance phase- so the kinkier the better.
That being said I found this one barely a romance. There is just so much violence and gore, I flinched. The heroine is escaping a cult, the hero has his own demons. He is addicted to anally deflowering virgins, she is trying to survive. They meet when he rescues her, and how she recovers forms the story.

Now I do not have an issue with - the whole cult thing gives me heebies and I did not feel the connection between the hero and heroine. They were both horny and good for them, not romantic.

I liked this story. I would have liked a little more bonding for Sig and Trip though. Like Trip in the first book, Sig felt very real to me. The whole plot of this was somewhat fresh and kept me engaged. I'm looking forward to the next one. The sex was inventive and I felt real chemistry between Sig and Red.

I'm guessing Syn is going to come looking for her brother eventually.... I want to see how that goes.

Unexpected

Sig and Red's story was very good.

This book has a serious feel to it from start to finish. It seems Blood Fury MC are going to be dealing with the grit of the past and present. I do miss the banter and some of the light hearted moments from this author's other series. Still it was a great plot with believable characters.

Issues of trauma and abuse are woven into this story.

***Possible spoilers but not more than blurb.***

I have started my review before I have even finished reading the book. Why you ask?

I raved over Trip and Stella in the first installment of the Blood Fury MC series. Trip was breaking his back to bring the club back to life and make it better and have a stronger brotherhood than the original members ever has. He also wants to keep more on the legit side so brothers aren't in and out of the stone 5X5. He was also a man who loved his woman strong.

I just can't... The Trip from the first installment is completely different from the Trip in this read. Trip is a complete and total motherfucking dick ass face. What do I mean by that you ponder?

Trip treats his blooded half brother Sig like fucking shit. First off, Trip is an ex-con himself. However, he thinks his shit don't stink and he is better than Trip for some asinine reason. Sig hasn't shown any interest in Stella, Trip's ol' lady. However, Trip and Stella acts as if Sig will rape her if they are alone long together. Because Trip treats Sig like shit, the whole club treats him the same way. I don't blame him thus far for not getting his rockers inked.

There is more shit that Sig has to put up with but what takes another top spot is how Trip reacted to the consensual sex with the Amish chick. To each, his or her own. Hell everyone acts like he raped her. That shut just gets me because of the next top ringer.

Red. Beaten, starved, naked, raped, pregnant on the run for her life. Sig catches sight of a naked woman running through the woods, he rescues her. He covers her nakedness with the shirt off his own back and takes her to the club to protect her from the crazy Shirleys. What the fuck does his blood brother and his so-called club brothers think... That he could have done that shit to her. Plus, Trip just wants to cut Red loose because she's not club property. And everyone thinks Sig is pond scam? At least Sig can see the human condition and sympathize with a person that has been broken and in need of help.

I was really leery going into reading this one. Sig was a huge asshole the little bit we saw of him in the last book. I wasn't sure how I could get behind rooting for him on this one. Even as this book started, I think the first scenes in the past were shown to us to start to make us feel sorry for Sig and I did a bit, he was surrounded by selfish adults, none of whom gave a shit about him. It seemed like all the Originals back then were horrible, but that didn't mean he had to live his life like he did, he kept choosing bad things.

The classic example was screwing around with the Amish girl. Trip is trying to start something good and the Amish help them in a lot of ways and sure Trip pays the Amish, but it's still a relationship that they don't want to ruin.

I was honestly stunned when Sig stopped for the naked woman running, shocked more that he helped her and kept helping her, that he didn't turn her over to Stella and Trip to take care of so he could wash his hands of the whole thing and go back to be an ass. I liked seeing the changes that caring for Red caused. I was iffy on the attraction between them because Red had been through so much, but Sig was surprisingly gentle with Red and went so very slow, letting her make all the moves. Things were looking up for both Sig and Red when it all went to crap fast.

I was surprised and not with all the drama at the end. I'm glad that the guys backed Sig in getting Red back, glad that they went hard at the people that took her, to the point where they should not mess with the club again.

I liked the ending, liked that Red and Sig made a very clear choice to be together and be happy. I'm also intrigued by the new connection these 2 and the MC by proxy have to the police in town. I really hope that helps alleviate any tensions that might have been rising with the club coming back to life.

5 star review of Blood & Bones: Sig (Blood Fury MC #2) by Jeanne St James

Audio Review
Oh my stars. What a raw and gritty books Blood & Bones: Sig was. We first met Sig in his brother’s book,Trip and I was interested to see what Ms.St James had in store for him and the woman who would entice him to settle down.
The performance by Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock was spot on and they most certainly did justice to the story. I loved how protective Sig was of Red, the woman he finds naked, beaten and abused running though the woods. When he learns of the horror that is her recent past, he knows that he must do everything in his power to protect her from her abusers.
This was a rare, gritty, at times over powering, emotional story that got to me.The friendship that blossoms between them is real as Sig does all he can to support Red during her pregnancy. Both Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas brought all that to life for me with their performances.
Sig is such a tormented man and it was wonderful to see how is willingness to help Red also brought abut the beginning of his own healing. I also enjoyed the progression of his relationship with his brother Trip.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Sig’s devastating childhood led to some desperate decisions that resulted in him being incarcerated. He has now been released and has been welcomed by his brother Trip and the Blood Fury MC but he isn’t there because of love or loyalty but has his own personal agenda. He is unhappy with his past as well as his present and he doesn’t see much hope for the future until Red comes into his life.

Red remembers her life before the last year, but it seems like it happened a lifetime ago. Although she may have escaped the situation and ends up being rescued by Sig her journey is only beginning. She has been traumatized and not only doesn’t she know who she is anymore she doesn’t know how to accept what she has endured.

The feelings that she inspired in Sig is unlike anything he has ever felt before and all he wants to do is protect her and help her become the woman she is meant to be and she sees the man he is and not the mistakes he has made. Their journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring, but it is definitely one you don’t want to miss.

This one was way darker than the first and definitely darker than her previous series.
Red/Autumn went through so much trauma and I was surprised by how much she bounced back from it. Though it wouldn't be much of a romance if she hadn't. I think in any other story, there would have been at least a couple years of therapy to deal with what happened to her *trigger warning: SA*
Sig was so patient with her. I don't think he deserves extra credit for this, because he was just being a decent person. But given his own violent past with his father, etc I think he did really well. I was surprised he even took an interest in her beyond taking her back to the farm.
I hope in the future, we see her go visit Levi and I'm so glad the doctors were willing to love him despite how he was conceived.

MC books should have the following: hot alpha men, brooding heroes who are misunderstood, past wrongs that have led the characters down a path that they feel is destined to happen, fowl language and loads and loads of raunchy sex......this book has all of those plus so much more. From the moment Sig finds Red his live is altered. He has always lived for himself and never thought he would ever get out from his behind his past. With each and every turn of the page the reader feels his hurt and understands his pain. The connection between Red and Sig leaps off the pages. I can honestly say that Jeanne St. James has gone above and beyond with every aspect of this book making it into not only a MC tale but also a tale about love, hope and redemption. 5 stars are not enough!!

Sig was born into a family that never really wanted him. He has spent more time in prison than out because of his hot temper. His brother Trip is trying to put the Blood Fury MC back together but Sig isn’t really sure he wants to stick around. Until he discovers a naked woman running through the woods.
Red has been held captive for so many days she can’t even remember how long she had been there. She escapes only to be found by a big tattooed man on a motorcycle.
As Sig helps her heal, he doesn’t realize they are healing each other. JSJ took two broken characters and slowly put them back together again. Another fantastic book!

Holy smokes this was good!!! Sig and his "Red" were both tortured and emotionally destroyed people...for different reasons and in their own way, but they each recognized and saw themselves in each other. It takes two broken souls to patch each other up and they did just that...but by very unorthodox methods. This was very different from most of this author's books but really gave me all the feels and gut punches that I enjoy when reading a biker romance. Loved it!

Oh wow, what can I say? First of all, this book is not a typical Jeanne St. James read. Both of the main characters are so broken and hurting, it’s just heartbreaking, but they’re also so intriguing that you can’t put the book down. Sig hasn’t had an easy life and is continually fighting demons that he feels he’ll always have because of his past. By accident, or chance, he happens upon Autumn, or Red to him, and he becomes determined to keep her safe. Sig is a hard guy to like sometimes. He definitely has issues and he’s unwilling to let people get close to him, mainly because he feels like he’s only a temporary part of the Blood Fury MC family...he wants to get the money he feels he’s owed and move on. Helping Autumn gives him a purpose and keeps him grounded. I loved Autumn’s character, not because she’s rainbows and sunshine, but because she’s real. She has gone through a devastating ordeal, and in 99.9% of books that I read when the heroine goes through a similar situation she’s a-ok in about 2 chapters, it makes for a smooth and seamless, easier to read story, but it’s not very realistic. Autumn is fragile and almost broken through the majority of this book and it’s heart wrenching, but it’s true to life. People don’t have the experience that she’s had and jump up one morning healed and healthy. Ms. St. James has taken two broken, hurting people and allowed them to slowly but surely heal each other. Together they find their strength and they share those strengths with each other. No, this isn’t a typical Jeanne St. James book. There isn’t a lot of humor or even that sense of family throughout the book that we’ve come to expect when reading her DAMC series or In The Shadows or especially Brothers In Blue. Yeah all of these books deal with traumatic situations, but Sig is different. These two really help heal each other, without a lot of outside help, mainly because they don’t really ask for it or allow it, until the end and even then I think Sig would have taken on an army alone, but I’m so glad he didn’t...such a great turning point for the whole Blood Fury MC. Sometimes you need a tragedy to help you realize how much you need others. Great book and exceptional addition to an exciting new series. I’m really enjoying these new characters and loving the glimpses we’re getting of our friends in Manning Grove and Shadow Valley. You blew me alway once more Ms. St. James, thank you.

Dark, emotional, gritty, horrifying, but awesome story about overcoming - Highly recommend story and series!

DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE ANY TRIGGERS TO VIOLENCE!

For mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language throughout, steamy intimate scenes, and violence, such as kidnapping, torture, assault, rape, fighting, death, consensual spankings, etc.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers due to reoccurring characters and themes.

This is a motorcycle club (MC) and contains multiple slang, scenes and violence that can be typical for this reading genre.

This is a dark story that at the heart of it is about resilience, love and overcoming what could be dire and emotionally crippling circumstances. It features two characters that could just give up, in fact it might even have been easier for them to do so, but instead they find an inner strength based upon support and love.

Here is a highlight of how the story begins. I tried to include a little bit of information / background on Sig. While I hope it helps to set the scene, it is by no means complete:

Sig grew up as the best friend of Trip (story #1) as part of the Blood Fury MC (BFMC). Trip’s and Sig’s fathers were part of the MC and both were involved in its implosion years earlier. Shortly thereafter the two boys found out they were actually half-brothers, but by then, both had been moved to different areas and lost touch.

Sig and Trip both inherited a bad temper from their father, made only worst by the past. This led Sig to go in and out of prison for years. Now Trip has reformed the BFMC and is doing everything he can to structure it the right way, modeled after the Dirty Angels MC, where the focus is on family and brotherhood. This is why he reserved a VP spot and apartment for Sig.

It took Sig a while to show up and he is only there to get his part of the inheritance his grandfather left to only Trip. Sig has found a way to try and deal with his anger / darkness and it leads to an incident and beat down from the Amish community, a critical partner of the MC.

On his way back to the compound, Sig sees a dirty, naked, emaciated, bruised and pregnant woman running through the woods. At first he thinks he is hallucinating due to own injuries, but then he realizes she is not only real, but it seems like she is moving as fast as she could to get away from something. Then he realizes the direction she is actually running from and knows he must try and help her.

Red, as he calls her due to her hair color, is so thin her skin is almost translucent. Sig is not sure how far along she is or how she has maintained it with as malnourished she appears to be.

He gets her to stop and now has to convince her to go with him before the Shirleys’ (mentioned in previous stories including Trip and the Men in Blue series) catch up with the two of them and neither of them get away.

I am going to stop here so I don’t accidentally provide any spoilers.

As the VP of Blood Fury, Sig has been hesitant to put roots down permanently. Too much blood had been spilled. Too many bad memories were reoccurring.
Red wants nothing more than to escape the nightmare she has lived for what has seemed forever. When she gets the chance to run, she takes it. Running right into Sig, she has to decide if she can trust the rough looking biker. Taking her fate and future into her own hands, she leaps into a world unlike anything she has experienced before.
Sig's well known anger issues begin to compile and become explosive as he hears and sees more evidence of the abuse Red had experienced. Usually his outlet for his anger issues is an easy find, but with Red there he realizes he doesn't want anyone but her. There is no way she would be willing to receive what he expects.
As Red begins to heal on the inside and out, she realizes the attraction for the rough biker will not be explored unless she makes the first move. But how can she expect Sig to look past what has happened to her when the nightmare seems to be neverending and the proof of her struggle is always present.
Can Sig and Red overcome their pasts? Will the danger Red was in disappear? Or will it continue to hunt her until they get what they feel is rightly theirs?
Every book I have cracked open of Jeanne St. James has never disappointed. Sig is no different. I will say the heaviness of the topic may not be for everyone as there are some trigger topics in the book. But St. James knows how to juggle the topic with a sensitivity that allows the reader to understand without being overwhelmed. I fell in love with Sig. Not just the book, but the man himself. His struggles and strengths were so realistic, I felt I was with him. I wish I was, so I could get an taste of the sexy biker. But I have a feeling if I tried, Red would kick my butt. Some may think she would be a timid mouse after everything that happened. But remember, the mouse scares the crap out of the elephant. So don't underestimate Red, as she is such a strong heroine that finds her way through the loving hands of Sig. The passion was both delicate and explosive. The love was bold and demure. I cannot wait for more from Jeanne St. James! Her books rock! When I grow up, I wanna be just like her. ;)

OK Book 2 what can one say about Sig .... he is truly screwed up both mentally and physically and from and early age ... the story kinda starts from book one cause we knew about sig from back then ... recap>> Sig is damaged goods. In and out of prison. Not able to stay in one place too long. The only good thing he's ever done was get Syn out of that trailer. When Trip appears on his doorstep offering him a seat as VP at the newly resurrected Blood Fury MC's table his guilt catches up with him. Sig blames himself for the downfall of the original Blood Fury MC. If he hadn't seen what he had seen, or done what couldn't be undone... The boy (trip)he thought was his best friend until the whole world went to hell is actually his real brother, and he's offered him a place. A home.
But Sig decides he is only there for his half of what he's owed, and is only staying until he gets what he feels is or should be his..... but sig being the kind of man he is fighting his demons the only way he knows how ... gets caught and so beaten and damaged and how he is making it back to the clubhouse he comes across a lone figure running thru the woods/trees and takes off after her ...he catches up with her and she is filthy, naked and pregnant and totally afraid of the fact he is there to drag her back to "him".. or them...he calls her Red even tho she is running for her life... As Red reveals her story Sig's heart slowly falls more in like/love with her.. The things she had to go thru ...the decision she had to make out of a horrible situation .. then the doc comes in the picture and the Bryson's Love for a baby come into play. I loved how Trip and the guys help Sig after he searches out what Red endured on the mountain .... and then at the end you find SIG and Ttrip come together and find an outlet for their anger. I loved how Sig learned to be gentle with Red when it called for it and I'm so happy these two broken souls were able to find some happiness after everything they endured. very good read....

Oh, my! Be still my heart. Autumn (Red) and Sig both buried themselves deep in my soul. Their story grabbed me from the beginning and wouldn't let go. I had so many things I needed to get done but couldn't put the book down. Every time I tried, I picked it right back up. I just had to see what would happen next. In my opinion, this just might be Ms. St. James' best story yet and that's saying something since there hasn't been one yet I haven't loved. If you have triggers, please heed the warnings. There are references to events that could be triggers and there is violence, although never any between Red and Sig.

Both Red and Sig are broken. They have been through things no one should ever have to go through or be exposed to. However, both have a fighting spirit that the other can see, even if they can't see it in themselves. Red, what an amazing woman she is. She is the rock Sig needs, and in doing so, becomes her own rock able to find her own strength. She has a giving heart as well, even with all she's been though. Sig is that broken bad boy you just want to hold in your arms and fix. Although, it isn't necessarily "fixing" he needs. He's a protector and he's got more love inside to give than he knows. The patience, understanding, and control he shows to Red made me fall for him from that first outstretched hand and continue to fall as he showed more of what was beneath that bad boy exterior.

I loved seeing their relationship develop. Their intimate moments, in the beginning, brought tears to my eyes. As someone who has trauma in their past, I appreciate that Red and Sig's relationship developed slowly. It definitely made their story more realistic than the storylines that seem to skip past, just forget, and act like the past has no impact on the developing relationship. It was very well written.

Blood & Bones: Sig is the second book in the Blood & Bones: Blood Fury MC Series by Jeanne St. James. I started this book and I wanted to HATE Sig so much. He came across as such an eejit! But I know St. James books and they are all amazing so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and kept with it!

Sig has problems... a lot of them. After a devastating childhood that led to some bad choices that in turn, resulted in him being incarcerated one too many times, he is released from prison. His brother Trip, president of the Blood Fury Mc comes looking for him and wants him to be his second in command. Bitter and really having no more options he decides to give it a go at least until something better comes along. He then discovers a naked woman running through the woods and she changes his life!

“When I’m not with you, I’m in fuckin’ pieces. When I’m with you, you make me whole. It’s the only time I feel complete."

Autumn AKA Red has been held captive for by crazy imbed people on the mountain for well over a year. She finally escapes running through the woods, naked as the day she was born. She runs straight found by a big tattooed man, Can she trust him to help her. Well she really has no choice.

“We can’t always choose what happens to us, but we can choose how to handle it.”

This book turned out to be so sad, St James took to very broken souls and put them together where they slowed started to heal each other. It was full of pain, heartache and love. It was just brilliant. As always with St James her secondary characters where brilliant and she even gave us a look into future characters like Syn, Sig's younger sister. This book was so good in so many ways and I highly recommend reading it!

This book was really romantic. He didn't know what to do with her when he finds her naked in the woods but he offered her a ride out of there. She was obviously out of her mind.

What happened to her was awful but he was so patient and loving with her, even though he thought he was a bad guy.

..............The heroine was kidnapped and sent to be the wife of a bunch of militia guys who don't recognize the US government. She refused to cooperate so they would tie her up and rape her so she would get pregnant because they needed new blood since they had such a small community.

Hero rescues her and even though she is pregnant with another man's baby, they fall in love. The baby is the product of rape and they decide to give the baby up for adoption.

My main problem is she was obviously starving, raped, pregnant, and out of her mind. They don't go to the police. The MC decides she wouldn't get justice. it didn't make any sense. Her condition was so terrible the police would have gotten an arrest warrant and there would have been justice.

My second problem is the hero at the beginning of the book is into very rough sex. Like beating a woman's butt until she begs him to stop and then having butt sex. He knows after her rape and abuse the heroine won't want that. So he decides he doesn't need it and will learn to control his anger and need to rage out by going to the "rage shed" where the MC sets up punching bags.

I just don't see how a deep sexual need like that can just go away.

The romance was amazing and wonderful and I really felt we saw them fall in love with each other.

Blood & Bones: Sig
Blood Fury MC, Book 2
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock, Ava Lucas

Every book Jeanne St James writes is special. There is always an incredible bond between the hero and the heroine, and it's impossible not to root for them. This book in particular is has won my heart. Not the typical story, but this series is a little different as the Blood Fury comes back to life. Sig is fascinating to me. The half brother of Trip, he has been made vice prez, and has no intention of staying around. He just wants what is his from his father and to move on. That is until he picks up Red. Red is a mess. Pregnant, naked, undernourished, she is need of care, and Sig takes her home to give her everything she needs. But what is truly amazing is this tough, broken man and damaged, closed up woman truly see each other. This is dark and gritty with a slow burn romance just waiting to explode. Plus, I absolutely love the story line. There are some crazy people out there and to get to see it through these eyes is exciting. It's thrilling to watch the MC begin to gel and fun to get to know some of the new characters. It makes me want to listen to more!

Nothing could have made this story better except the narration, and it just brings the story to a whole new level. Aaron Shedlock is Sig, and he gets him. Broken and broody, compassionate and loving, dark and light, he reaches into Sig and brings him everything. Ava Lucas has a tough one, with the closed up Red. She is uses her talent going from the quiet, aloof feel and lets us feel her change and warm up as time goes on. It's a fabulous team and together made this one of my top listens this year.

WOW! AMAZING STORY!
I have read a lot of books by Jeanne St. James and IMO, this is maybe her best work. Absolutely amazing. This book and for that matter this series has a whole different feel to it from her DAMC series. I think I like it even better (and that's saying a lot!!!---I'm fairly obsessed with DAMC). Sig and Red (Autumn) are made for each other. They meet as two broken people. He has been messed up since childhood with anger issues and feeling like he can neither love or be loved. She had a normal life until a year ago and is now messed up from a year of horrible trauma and brutality. Red is soooooo incredibly strong! To survive her kidnapping and abuse and to give such amazing gifts to others (Sig and Carly & Matt) I really loved her. Sig is tormented but feels a powerful and immediate connection to the terrified woman he finds. Their bond is strong and they both feel it quickly. like two powerful magnets coming together. For a man with such anger and rage, he finds himself able to be beautifully patient and tender with Red. She is able to trust a man and accept him for him. It just WORKS with these two so beautifully. We catch up with Carly and Matt Bryson in this book--yay! Those horrible mountain people have to be dealt with again--and WOW, wait till you see what Sig does to one of them!
INCREDIBLE BOOK! LOVE, LOVE LOVE IT. Romance, passion, anger, heartbreak, danger, action - it has it all!!!

This is the second book in the Blood Fury Series, this one is Sig's story. I was happily surprised that I really like this story. I found the storyline for an MC book original. Unlike the first book, I felt what was happening between Sig and Red. I could understand why they were drawn to each other. And the way Sig took care of her gained tons of respect in my book. He had his issues for sure, but he admitted to them and was willing to what he need to do to keep Red. His patience and understanding with Red I admired. The only thing I really had a problem with was the fact he liked younger girls. I was not sure if this was because of an issue with what his mother was or what, it was never addressed and that worried me about his future with Red.

I like Red a lot. I liked that the author did not hurry things along and make it unrealistic in her healing process. I thought it was brave of her to admit that giving the baby to be raised by Carly and Matt was the best thing for her baby. I thought she came off as a strong woman. I was glad that Sig cared enough for her to find another outlet for his anger. They were two damaged people who found each other and loved each other enough to make it work.

One thing I didn't like was so much internal dialogue. It was repetitive at times. I did like seeing Trip and Stella in this book. They both seemed more mature then in book one. I would note there is not much MC Club stuff in this book, but I enjoyed it.

*Warning may contain spoilers.

I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews and I waited a few days after reading to see if I would change my mind.

Where do I start? How about the hero being in his mid 30's and only liking young girls. So much so that all of his brothers think he might actually go there with someone underage. He comments that one of the women is 'too old for his taste,' being the grand old age of 30 and actually younger than him.

I found Sig's character so unlikeable. I can deal with characters that have redeemable qualities but I could not find any with him.

Having read the brother's in blue series first, I was so disappointed in Dr Bryson's epic character failure in this book. Autumn is clearly traumatised by everything she has been through and the first chance the Dr gets, she offers to adopt her baby. Autumn could barely wrap her head around what had gone on and the adoption was thrown in way too fast. Surely being a Dr should come first and she should have offered Autumn some councilling and then see if adoption was the route she wanted to go down. It seemed like Dr Bryson was putting her desire to have a child over what might have been best for Autumn. It's so disappointing after reading her book with Matt.

This book was a complete miss for me. I'm about half way through this series and have enjoyed all of the others so far.

What to say about this book! Just ok wow Sig is like the scared growling puppy thats so adorable that even thou you know you'll be bit you just have to cuddle him.

First off Sig is flawed there is no way around it he had a cruel and hard life and its left its mark in many ways. The thing about Sig is for all his flaws hes not an evil person he just does stupid bad things. As you get into his background you really want him to find happiness to find love and someone who accepts him and doesn't just tell him how messed up he is.

Autumn or Red as Sig calls her is fighting her own demons shes on the run shes scared and needs help even thou shes too traumatized at the time to process Sig is trying to help. For all her trauma Red is strong she may have nightmares and be dealing things in an unusual manner but she is not letting her demons break her.

Together they can be what each other truly needs. There is action we get to see a bit more about Blood Fury is growing and a bit more into the complex relationship Trip and Sig have but this book shines best in its emotional journey the growth and character development is a delight. You will laugh and you will tear up and finsih wishing for more.
