Submission of projects for the ITA 50th anniversary
At the occasion of the ITA 50th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2024 with main celebration during the WTC 2024 in Shenzen (China), ITA is planning to celebrate 50 iconic tunnel projects that have been constructed along ITA life. A special category will be devoted to projects in construction.
These outstanding projects will be presented in a video as well as most probably in a leaflet. We are looking for a distribution of these 50 projects along the 5 decades as well as worldwide.
In order to qualify the different projects we will set up an independent jury.
Among the criteria to select the projects, will be the innovation (at the time of the project), the size, the importance of the project locally, the lessons learnt.
Of course in order to be able to illustrate them it will be important to have the possibility to get drawings, photos and for the more recent ones videos.
Once the projects selected, the promotor of the project will be ask to collaborate to write the description sheet and to illustrate it.
Please fill up the following questionnaire to present project and add a photo (send by email) of the tunnel/infrastructure. (Each entity is entitled to propose a maximum of 2 projects per decade.)
