Imo State Internal Revenue Service, an operational arm of Imo State Board of Internal Revenue is the major funding arm of the Imo State Government empowered by the Imo State Revenue Administration Law (ISRAL) to collect tax levies and other revenues due to the State. Over the years, IIRS has increased the State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by executing and implementing strategies which have positively impacted revenue generation and collection. IIRS continues to position itself as a major funding arm of the state government by optimizing and restructuring strategies that will ensure voluntary compliance and collection of the proper amount of revenue.
