Local event to help raise money for Tahoe-Pyramid Trail

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A bike-a-thon is happening this weekend and proceeds from the event will help build the final parts of the Tahoe-Pyramid trail.

Today, we spoke to its founder, Janet Phillips. She is the recipient of numerous awards recognizing the merits of the project.

The indoor cycling fundraising event is happening on Saturday, February 29th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be at Great Basin Bicycles located at 8048 South Virginia Street.

It costs $12 to participate in the event. If you would like to attend, you do need to register. Click here to participate.
