Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Paint-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Daffodil with a blog hop!
https://shrsl.com/2cfb6

If you arrive from the blog of  Nicole Watt, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

This is my one of the few one layer cards with watercoloring.
Altenew-PaintAFlower Daffodil#1

I took a loose approach with the coloring. In fact, lately, I love ink-smooshing so much that I watercolored the images with the help of a piece acetate!
Altenew-PaintAFlower Daffodil#3

If you have not done Ink-smooshing, I highly suggest it.
It is so forgiving (for someone like me who is not a colorist).
Altenew-PaintAFlower Daffodil#2

What I also love about coloring this way is that you can continue to layer a bit of color each time with droplets of water and watercolor. I used Altenew Watercolor Brush-markers because it was so quick and easy to use.

Beautiful! I have always loved the lose water colour look. I have never been able to achieve this look, although it looks so easy, its not! You need just the right amount of ink and colour in the right spots! It is lovely! A true work of art! I love coming to your blog and seeing all your amazing cards.
