European Polar Board’s Autumn Plenary Meeting in Luxembourg

The Plenary of the European Polar Board (EPB) meets biannually to be updated about EPB activities. After a period of online meetings (due to pandemic), the Representatives and Alternate Representatives of the EPB gathered in-person in Luxembourg on 22 – 23 November 2022, hosted by polar.lu (Luxembourg’s Polar Programme).

The EPB’s Plenary was honoured by the visit of Claude Meisch, Luxembourg's Minister of Education, Youth and Children & Minister of Science and Higher Education, who met the EPB Plenary for an informal talk. The Minister shared information about Luxembourg’s research activities. Please see the video recording for the talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z7gxDqKxRA

Furthermore, the EPB Plenary was welcomed at The National Museum of History and Art of Luxembourg by its director.

The EPB’s Autumn Plenary Meeting was concluded by "The Arctic in the center of climate change" event at the "Natur Musée", le Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle, co-organised by the Luxembourg's Polar Program polar.lu and the Arctic Centre (University of Lapland), both members of the EPB.

Many thanks to all the EPB members for their contributions and special thanks to polar.lu (Luxembourg’s Polar Programme) for hosting us!
