Business Sweden’s Seoul office had the pleasure of receiving the Swedish delegation of biopharma companies to Bio Korea 2024 – Korea’s largest biopharma expo – from May 7-10. The week was brimming with engaging events as we collaborated with the Danish Embassy and the Swedish Embassy to promote the growth of innovative Swedish and Danish biopharma companies in Korea. Joining the Swedish delegation were CCRM Nordic, Cellectricon, Iconovo AB Olink Proteomics, Pelago Bioscience, Salipro Biotech AB, SVF Vaccines AB, Business Region Göteborg, PILA PHARMA and SwedenBIO. The delegation program featured study visits to Samsung Biologics and the Songdo Bio Cluster, business meetings in the Nordic Pavilion at Bio Korea 2024, fantastic presentations from the companies and organisations at the Swedish Innovative Biopharma Seminar, as well as networking receptions with local stakeholders at the Danish and Swedish residences. Sweden and Korea are two of the world's most innovative countries with strong biopharmaceutical ecosystems. The synergies between the two countries are numerous and provide great opportunities for future collaboration in the life science industry. Business Sweden hosted a webinar on April 25th, focusing on R&D collaboration in hydrogen between France and Sweden. The event highlighted shared goals of innovation, digitalization, and sustainability in the hydrogen sector under the France-Sweden bilateral Innovation Partnership. It also introduced the Trilateral Innovation Platform (TIP), supporting Swedish companies, research institutes, and government agencies in identifying funding opportunities and forging strategic partnerships with countries like France and Germany. We extend our thanks to co-organizer RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and panellists from MEDEF International, the French Corrosion Institute, and Vinnova for their insightful discussion on driving collaboration in hydrogen. For more information on TIP's role in facilitating R&D collaborations, exploring flagship projects in France's hydrogen value chain, and potential funding opportunities, please contact Ekaterina Pravdina, Frederic Foerster, and Salim Tisqi from our Paris and Berlin offices. Let's maintain this positive momentum and drive progress in the hydrogen sector! #Hydrogen #Sustainability #Innovation #Partnership #ResearchDevelopment #France #Sweden
