We are thrilled to launch our new Chupi app. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gvkckFqQ
Why does jewellery need an app? I’m so proud to announce we have launched our Chupi app for both iOS & android. It’s been a labour of love and late nights, but we soft launched it a few days ago and it’s a thing of beauty. But why? A piece of fine jewellery is one of the biggest purchases you will make. It’s more than a what, it’s a why. It’s the moment you met, the moment you say yes or the moment you say no. We know our community go on a journey with us as they choose their piece of the future, having the Chupi app means we can speak to them directly. Along with so many have missed out on our exclusive launches, we knew we had to find a way to ensure we were speaking directly to our fans. We have some gorgeous limited editions pieces launching like pink sapphires, grey diamonds and the most stunning emeralds. We knew we had to create a home. To celebrate launching our Chupi app we have 10% off for in app purchases to the end of February. Download it here: https://lnkd.in/gWHXPPwZ

We are home ❤️ Opening 18th October 2023 on Clarendon Street, Dublin 2.
I am thrilled to finally be able announce we are opening our Irish flagship for Chupi. A 4,500ft retail-studio space across two floors in the beautiful surrounds of Powerscourt Townhouse on Clarendon Street in Dublin City centre. When it came time to choose the perfect home for the Next Decade at Chupi we walked so many potential stores; but none of them felt right. It wasn’t until one day a call took us in the right direction. As we walked down what is know locally as Diamond Alley (the tiny jeweller-filled strip that joins Grafton Street & Clarendon Street), we saw the arch of Powerscourt Townhouse and emerged onto Clarendon Street. The store that formerly house French Connection was available and we knew it was meant to be. The first 1,400ft on Clarendon Street will open in October, with upstairs opening early next year. It’s been 500 days since we started planning for a Dublin flagship, but really it’s been a 10 year journey that’s brought us right back to where we started. We can’t wait to welcome you into our home from the 18th October. I may be the one smiling here, however there is an incredible group of people behind me. My team at Chupi, our board & investors (including BVP & Abbey International Finance) our partners (including permanent tsb) and you, our community ❤️ www.Chupi.com

A brilliant nomination alongside a fantastic group of women for our founder Chupi Sweetman. Thanks to Women Mean Business (WMB)
Why is Ireland one of the best places in the world to start a business? It's a question I get asked whenever I speak about founding Chupi It's the incredible community. I was so thrilled to be nominated for the Women Mean Business (WMB) Compass Group Ireland WMB Female Entrepreneur Award. WMB is one of the longest running & most prestigious female entrepreneurship awards and to be completely honest I hadn't even considered entering as the shortlist is always so impressive. The thing that made it extra special was not just the nomination, but the people I am nominated alongside. A remarkable group of women, several of whom who are friends & champions like Oonagh O'Hagan, Sharon Keegan & Lorraine Heskin. Huge congratulations to all of the nominees including Dayna Caceres, Raina Lazarova & Laura McCarthy. Here's to community.

The team vote is for the 5x Stars in the Sky, we just have to find a reason to justify needing five diamonds not three...
Allow me to introduce our new darlings ✨ Eternity rings have long, been worn and loved to celebrate some of the biggest moments in our lives, but not all of the big moments are Hallmark ones. I love eternity rings worn as a wedding band, to celebrate an anniversary or to welcome a new baby into the world. But equally there are the other days; the day you got the dream job, the day you graduate and even the day you get divorced. These are all moments that happen in our lives, and they are worth being honoured. I’m so excited to introduce our Stars in the Sky eternity rings. I love jewellery with a hidden meaning and a designed this collection of 3, 4 & 5 diamond rings so that you can choose what each diamond means. Whether a moment in time, a decade in your life or one diamond each for the people you love. You get to decide what is important 🤍 https://lnkd.in/eJkBc4BU

We are honoured to have partnered with KPMG Ireland to design the trophy for the KPMH Women's Irish Open. We have designed the trophy to be a celebration of strength and brilliance designed to be passed down for generations to come. The complexity of taking a concept from paper to reality is encapsulated in this video. The trophy, like our jewellery, is made in Ireland. Cast in Dublin from recycled brass by an incredible third generation family business, it’s sat atop a reclaimed piece of oak from our long time friends Ballyshane Studio. The creative was shot by the brilliant Esme Pum McNamee and produced by Luke Sweetman, with the exceptional Lesiele Juliet working her magic to tell the story. Managed by Lee Kenny Our heartfelt thanks to Katherine Sheils & the team at KPMG for entrusting us with this commission, it would have been simple to choose a standard trophy, but yet again they’ve gone above and beyond in supporting women. We look forward to seeing it handed over Dromoland Castle Hotel & Country Estate in September, to honouring the incredible athletes who will be competing. They are the next generation who will change Ireland for the better 🌱

Demystifying lab grown diamonds! Cultivated lab grown diamonds are grown in a lab from a natural diamond seed, using the age old combination of carbon, heat, pressure and time. They are visually and molecularly identical to a traditionally mined diamond and are an amazing gemstone if you want the incredible sparkle of a classic diamond, but a more sustainable alternative. Lab grown diamonds and traditionally mined diamonds are identical, visually and molecularly. Lab grown diamonds are just as durable as traditionally mined diamonds, sitting at the top of the internationally recognised Mohs scale for gemstone hardness. The main difference between lab grown diamonds and mined diamonds is the environmental and social impact of mining versus a laboratory creation, not to mention, the price! Lab grown diamonds means you can get even more sparkle for your ring.
