Best coffee maker ever? 😉 The moka pot turns 90 years old this year. Invented by Italian engineer A. Bialetti, it quickly became an icon. Learn more facts and trivia about the moka pot and IP on our Instagram account: https://lnkd.in/dfATf5rk
Thanks for the information! Now I’m curious about what other 3D Shape trade marks there are. Bialetti’s is a beautiful design, but finicky to use well. Back when I put sugar and cream in coffee, I’d just fire it up, wait until it bubbled, and enjoy. Now I’ve become a coffee snob, this is the way I’d make a moka pot: https://youtu.be/BfDLoIvb0w4
Great coffee. Great memories of Italy for me. The handle design though it's a bit fragile.
Back in India, my mother made the best tasting cup of coffee just by boiling water and pouring it over fresh coffee grinds. She did not take to the Moka coffee pot I presented her as much as I did as a more convenient way to brew coffee. Of course, now it is replaced by the drip coffee maker and/or the single pod maker which take a back seat to the boiled water brew and the Moka pot, the French Press being the closest to the Moka pot for a tasty cup of of the Java!
some for you Michal Šťasta :-D
Only one I use!! Best by far in my opinion
New icon is aeropress :) https://aeropress.com/ #aeropress
Best, is a matter of opinion. I am of the mind that the Ethiopian coffee ceremony produces the "best" coffee. Why, it's roasted the way I like, from some of the best beans in the world and ground and brewed while still warm from roasting.
I could not live without ☕️made with either of my two Bialetti.
Fantastic! I would say it is more sustainable than other modern machines, because of less packaging and repairable design. And it is of course more fascinating and a sort of a ritual. Just prepare the coffee and have a break at the end of your lunch till you hear that unmistakable sound that means your coffee is ready. In my mind it sounds relaxing.

1yHow can it be a valid RCD, being 90 years old? 🤔 Great coffee, though
