HOW IT WORKS

Our approach is based on strong partnerships. Local organisations take the lead in participatory mapping activities. It only requires the upload of some photographs of the annotated map and the textual data to get the automated digitisation in the SmartLandMaps cloud environment going. SmartLandMaps is handling the digitisation and the partner organisation does not need to interfere with the software. Once done, the digitized data can be downloaded in a GIS-ready format, or integrated in existing LIS/GIS environments.
